Christmas 2016 \u2013 Angel Tree\"angel-tree\"<\/a><\/strong>
\nThank you to all who are participating in our first Angel Tree. Please bring the unwrapped gifts in a labeled bag per child to the Melrose Elementary School office by Tuesday December, 20. The school will take care of distributing the
\nitems to the families.<\/p>\n

Many thanks go to you for being an angel for one of the Melrose Elementary School students.\u00a0 Your gifts will bring joy to a child as you share God\u2019s love!<\/p>\n

\"Nativity\"<\/a>Merry Melrose\u00a0 <\/strong>Merry Melrose festivities included booths in front of the parish hall with small treasures perfect for Christmas giving!\u00a0 Inside the hall, we had our annual Nativity Walk<\/strong> with a wonderful display of Nativity scenes from around the world as well as family treasures which have \"LCB\"<\/a>fascinating stories.\u00a0 Also, there was music, cookies and lemonade for everyone!\u00a0 The Men\u2019s Club had a delicious Low Country Boil<\/strong> following the Merry Melrose Parade.<\/p>\n

Thanksgiving in the Park \u2013 <\/strong>See the article, \u201cA Day for Giving,\u201d in the Friday, November 25th edition of the Gainesville Sun.<\/a><\/p>\n

Friends from far and wide enjoyed the 9th annual \u201cThanksgiving in the Park,\u201d hosted by Trinity Episcopal Church.\u00a0 Many hands prepared and served the food as nearly 500 people attended.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to our own Linda Wilcox for coordinating another fine event. Quoting the Sun article, \u201cI really feel like this is God\u2019s party,\u201d she said. \u201cThis is what Thanksgiving is all about.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Annual Trinity Bazaar, November 11-12\u00a0 \"fall-bazaar\"<\/a><\/strong>Congratulations to the ECW and many others for a successful bazaar.\u00a0 This year\u2019s sale featured hand made items, baked goods, jams and jellies, Christmas gift ideas and vintage furniture and collectibles.<\/p>\n

Stewardship Sunday<\/strong>, September 11
\n<\/strong>A combined service at 10am IN THE CHURCH was followed by a gourmet luncheon prepared by Kelly and Clay. \u00a0 As a stewardship celebration, we looked at our many Blessings through our ongoing ministries at Trinity, with a powerpoint presentation by Clay.\u00a0 Also, many thanks to the youth of Keystone Community Church for serving as our waiters.\u00a0 We were treated royally!\u00a0 🙂<\/p>\n
